Working In Indiana

I just left a two week deployment on the George W. Bush. That is an aircraft carrier. It was pretty nice. The galley food was real good. So far the best galley food has been the Truman. 

When we got back from the Bush had a four day weekend and then it was off to Indiana. We are working at Camp Atterbury, an Army base. 

So far it's been really lax. We are staying at a Best Western hotel off base. We have been working for an average of four hours a day. Can't beat that! The guys go out after work but I've been just kicking back at the hotel. 

Although this deployment sounds pretty good. Don't expect for all of them to be like this. I just kind of lucked it out on this one. I'm supposed to be leaving for Bahrain in November. I really can't wait for that. It will be a lot of hard work in blistering heat but the experience and money will be worth it.
