I'm still here on this 5 month deployment in Bahrain. As you may know from watching the news the Bahrain Demonstrations are heating up. So far there have been a total of six deaths and almost 300 injuries. That sounds pretty serious considering the Bahrain Demonstrations are supposed to be "Peaceful."

The government is allowing military personnell to serve openly gay. I don't think it's a bad idea. Times are changing and old rules and regulations need to adapt to those changes.
